Getting I.T. Right @ CeVMS: Persuasive Text and Language on Edcanvas

Ms. Humphries 7th Grade TAG ELA class is learning about Persuasive Text and Language. Check out how they did it using Edcanvas!

With Edcanvas, teachers have the ability to put many different types of media into one dashboard in sequential order. This is ideal for a flipped classroom environment where students need a little more structure than just a page of links. Students can jump into the presentation at any point, so it is easy to navigate to areas for review or preview.

With Edcavas, the originator can choose from many different layouts, include all types of media using drag-n-drop function menu. One of my favorite features is that it is easy to drop in a video that is hosted on YouTube, but all of the comments are not easily viewed because videos are played from within the Edcanvas. Being able to easily log in with you Google Apps account makes this an easy tool to keep handy in your arsenal.

Check out this tutorial/featurette over EdCanvas created by the RRISD ITS team.
