Getting I.T. Right @ CeVMS

Ma Ville et Ma Maison

Students in Madame Macharia's French 1B class used Google Draw to create their ideal city and house. They really enjoyed this project and put a lot of details in their work. They had to label streets, buildings, rooms in the house in French. Then in front of the class, they had to describe in French their city and house in more details with directions (ex. turn left, continue straight ahead, turn right, etc.).

Batch Geo

Students in Ms. Moore's 8th Grade US History Class used BatchGeo to map Civil War Battle Sites. They then open Google Earth and visit the battle sites virtually. Ms. Moore reports that the students think this is "so cool!" and is glad to be able to teach map skills and the Civil War Battle lesson in a different way.
